A strange thing happens when Mandy Black touches someone. She sees their worst sins.
Unfortunately, Mandy has even bigger problems than visions. A talking pug named Scorch has just informed her that she’s half demon — and that her father, Asmodeus, one of the seven Kings of Hell, has been assassinated and his enemies are now coming after Mandy.
Scorch’s job is to protect Mandy, bring her back to Hell, and help her reclaim her father’s throne. As appealing as being the princess of Hell may be, Mandy has other plans: pass her finals, graduate from middle school, and get out of St. Francis into a normal high school.
